Box of Doom has set the standard for isolation cabinets. The list of users is growing and we are very proud of the fact that our products are to be found on stages and in studios all over the globe, to be used by the biggest names in the music industry.

We also have many users who use our products in less demanding environments. We agree a home recording artist doesn’t need an outer casing that is fit for touring. Some users don’t need to change a speaker frequently and are satisfied with the driver they are familiar with. Most users don’t need an absolutely dead silent isolation cabinet, a good noise reduction will do the trick. The most important feature is the proven pro-recording sound quality of the Box of Doom. We thought many times of a “budget” BoD, without making compromises on the essence of what we do: deliver professional quality.

We came up with the “basic BoD", which is a new Box of Doom, delivering the same recording quality but without some features that might be a bit too much for the purpose of your use.
